Reliability of the Bible Experience

Confidence in the Reliability of the Scriptures

Utilizing a remarkable 100-foot-long early-nineteenth-century handwritten Hebrew Torah scroll, this interactive experience introduces participants to the robust biblical scribal tradition which was established hundreds of years B.C. The meticulous and exacting rules of this tradition ensured that the hand-copied Scriptures were replicated with extraordinary fidelity to earlier generations of verified biblical texts. While the invention of the moveable type printing press by Johannes Gutenberg in 1440 aided in the accuracy of printed copies, many of the earlier-established exacting rules ensuring the precision of handwritten copies continue even to this day. With additional insights gleaned from the 1947 discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, the seminar demonstrates that the Bible has not been corrupted over time. This gives us great confidence that the Scriptures are accurate and trustworthy. This experience is designed for pastors, theological students, and lay Christians.

Reliability of the Bible Experiences have recently been conducted across five states of North India and in major cities of another Central Asia nation. These interactive events were jointly organized by churches, universities, Bible colleges, seminaries, denominations, Bible translators, pastors’ conferences, sending organizations, Bible societies, and other ministries, and were presented in multiple languages.

In 2024, Reliability of the Bible Experiences and other Unabridged Truth Bible events will be taking place in multiple locations throughout Asia, Central Asia, and Papua New Guinea.
